Cold or wet?

It's getting cold enough that it takes 3 days for the clothes outside to try. The problem, however, is this- I can't tell if my clothes are just cold or if they're still wet (and, when it rains between the time of washing them and them being dry, that makes things even more difficult).

OOooh winter, you're making me NERVOUS!!!!
