NYC for 10 days... before France!

So NYC is one of my favorite places in the USA that I have been to... this trip was fantastic. Even though I still can't manage to figure out the bus systems, the subway and I are becoming very good friends. I'm even giving in and taking a cab sometimes... but I have to be REALLY desperate for that! This was my first time in the city when it's been winter... and snowing. It got absolutely freezing, but it really wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be!
Tuesday was a lot of fun. I went to a bar/club called CAIN LUXE with my french new yorker friend, Patrice. It was a very nice place and I got to dress up, which is something I will never turn down! It was absolutely freezing that night in my high heels, short dress, and tights but it didn't seem to bother me much.

What I learned from this trip: don't trust the bus systems to be on time or actually have a bus when it's listed, museums are everywhere and fantastic, and spending winters in NYC really isn't that bad!

When I got back to OZ on Monday, it wasn't 15 hours before I was off again. I went to Chicago to work with the new High School Confidential girls! They are filming in rural Chicago. It was absolutely amazing to meet all of the girls and work with the new crew. I would post photos, but I can't. It's ok. You'll see them in 4 years when the new season airs... oh the suspense!! I'm crossing my fingers that hopefully once I graduate I can get on the project full time... but I think some strings will have to be pulled or some major luck will have to come my way. Regardless, it was a fantastic opportunity nonetheless and I can't wait to go back.

What I learned from this trip: I'm not just a NYC girl... I'm a CITY girl. I don't care what city I live in, as long as it is a city and I'm doing what I love! Also, it is a great feeling to have people looking up to you. I would not trade that feeling for anything.

I'm off to France in 6 days... yay!!!
